Suntree Viera Youth Football League's NFL Flag Football Season

NFL Flag is a non-contact flag football league for boys & girls ages 5-17.  

We are looking for as many coaches as possible to assist during the 2017 winter season. 

This program strongly relies on volunteer coaches. Without coaches, we do not have a program. Accommodations will be made for those interested in coaching their child's team or a particular age group. Coaches are welcome to coach in more than one division and more than one team if interested. Depending on number of volunteers, we may have up to two coaches per team. 

Before registering as a Coach, please follow this link to submit and download the Coaches waiver from NFL Flag. www.nflflag.com/form/coach

After downloading the form, please register as an NFL Flag Coach to be placed on your team.  After placement, your account will be enabled with administrative rights. You'll be able to invite players via email address, invite another coach to assist, etc.  

We would like to emphasize that being a NFL Flag coach does not require previous experience. 

We expect that coaches will have a variety of experience and background when it comes to football as well as coaching. 

The basic on field rules for coaches are as follows:

1. Coaches are expected to adhere to NFL FLAG philosophies, coaching guidelines and code of conduct. Please see the NFL Flag 60 rule book on the Rules page for more information.
2. Coaches are allowed on the field to direct players according to need and DIV.

Program Information: 

Winter NFL Flag 2018

• Registration Closes Dec 
• Season begins Jan 13th, 2018
• Season lasts 6 weeks. 
• Games: Saturdays
• Practices: Scheduled by Coach/NFL Flag Committee
• Tournament: March 2018

• 1 Reversible NFL Game Jersey
• 1 NFL Flag BeltAge groups

• 5/6 year old
• 7/8 year olds
• 9/10 year olds
• 11/12 year olds
• 13/14 year olds
• 15/16/17 year olds

• October - $75  
• November/December - $85
