Suntree Viera Youth Football League's NFL Flag Football Season

NFL Flag is a non-contact flag football league for boys & girls ages 5-17.

BEFORE Entering into the Player Registration Process, please visit https://www.nflflag.com/form/player to fill out the required NFL FLAG Insurance Agreement. This document MUST be uploaded during the registration process. ATHLETES 

COACH INFORMATION

Coaches, please register as NFL Flag coach on our site to be considered for a team within the division you select.

NOTE: Please understand that registering as a coach does not guarantee a head coach position in the NFL Flag program.  

Factors considered when placing maximum amount of coaches per division. 

The number of head coaches needed per division. 

Previous coaching experience. 

Previously volunteered as a coach in one of our 3 football (Fall Flag/Fall Tackle/NFL Flag) programs 

Coaches who have undergone a background review by our partners AUE. 

PROGRAM INFORMATION - Winter NFL Flag 2018

Registration Closes Dec 

Season begins Jan 13th, 2018

Season lasts 6 weeks. 

Games: Saturdays

Practices: Scheduled by Coach/NFL Flag Committee

Tournament: March 2018

Suntree Viera's NFL Flag Program is an established and experienced NFL Flag program with many years of operation. We offer a 6 week Flag Season (some game days involve double headers). We also offer a season wrap-up NFL Flag Tournament (usually on a Sunday). Practices for the season generally begin 2-3 weeks prior to the season beginning. Team players will hear from their coach soon after the holidays are over. Most games are played on Saturdays. 

We have many teams in each division. 

Costs: 

October - $75  

November/December - $85

Cost Includes:

1 Reversible NFL Game Jersey

1 NFL Flag BeltAge groups 

Ages:

5/6 year old

7/8 year olds

9/10 year olds

11/12 year olds

13/14 year olds

15/16/17 year olds

REQUESTS

Players are welcome to request a coach. Please keep in mind teams top out at 9-12 players which is dependent upon:

Number of athletes registered in a division.

Competitive Advantage/Disadvantage.

We strive to find a fitting spot for every athlete so that they may enjoy our NFL Flag season. If there is an influx of last minute registrations, teams may even have players removed and placed on another team to fill an additional team. 

Please understand the NFL Flag Committee and Coaches will review requests and do their best to distribute athletes as evenly as possible throughout the divisions. 

This may not honor all requests to be placed on specific teams. 

Other factors that may prevent a request from being honored are listed below. However, the player will be placed on a comparable team in the same division:

Team is full. 

Coach/Committee views the team is extremely "stacked" or heavily under-advantaged. (teams formed in previous NFL Flag season will not be split up).

Coach has already pledged 10 spots to athletes.

Team does not have enough athletes.
